Once a baby starts roaming around is about the time the baby becomes a toddler. For every toddler new clothes are a must! Because toddlers move around so much it is important to make sure their clothes are more durable and flexible.

Overalls are a good purchase for any toddler. Adjustable straps make them last just a little bit longer as your toddler grows into and eventually out of them. Overalls come in pants, shorts and even skirts (for girls), so they are the perfect all around wear for casual clothing.

Jackets and sweaters are probably on the list of winter wear for any toddler. The best kind of winter wear will obviously be washer and dryer friendly. However, getting clothes that have zippers or snaps might be a good investment. Having buttons serve as more than a decoration at this point would probably end up in the loss of a few buttons.

Pajamas are probably the next stop on the shopping cart. The best pajamas for any time of year are the footsie pajamas. The feet coverings will help protect your toddler against anything they might step on and save you a small piece of mind if they get up randomly and walk to your bedside.

Lastly shoes are going to be a major investment. Once a toddler starts to walk, they just don’t slow down. A good pair of shoes will ensure that when your cute little boy or girl runs around the playground his or her feet will stay clean, at least for the most part.
