My Baby Rocks is so proud to be teamed up with Rockstar Tutu! All of the tutus available on our site are made exclusively by them, and they certainly do rock!
From punk rock princess tutus to classic pink ballerina tutus; the wide variety and quality is simply amazing. I love when our customers send us fan photos of their cute little girls wearing super sweet or awesome rockin’ tutus.
Here are a few of my favorites:
This is our classic Black Baby & Toddler Tutu. You can mix and match this with so many of our one pieces, its almost impossible not to be able to make a great outfit with this tutu. I personally love to see our black tutus over this one piece:
It isn’t exactly a princess outfit, but it looks amazingly cute.
Halloween Skull Black & Orange Tutu:
This tutu is perfect for a Halloween costume, you could match it with a jack o’lantern one piece, your baby girl will be the cutest witch around! I also think this would be really cute with a plain black one piece, cat ears, and some painted on whiskers.
Punk Princess Pink & Black Plaid Skull Tutu:
I am in love with this tutu! I am not a “pink” person but I would definitely rock this tutu if I were oh… about 20 years younger
. This punk princess tutu is the PERFECT tutu to make an amazing punk rock princess outfit. Seriously, you could pair this with literally any of our punk themed girl one pieces.
Accessorizing these tutus is a blast. Little leggings always look adorable under these, and there are so many options out there for rockin’ shoes and hair accessories.
It wasn’t until recently that I learned to appreciate the idea of a tutu, but now I can’t get enough of them. The look and feel of tulle in the many options that is offered by Rockstar Tutu is heaven. And seeing babies in tiny tutus is always heart warming.

Punk emerged on the music scene between 1974 and 1976, and punk fashion soon followed. Most people involved in the punk scene were excited by the idea of rebellion and anarchy, so a lot of their clothing was anti-mainstream. A lot of people liked to get their clothes from thrift stores and sometimes even from trash cans – the dirtier, the better. They also loved to incorporate controversial or offensive slogans and symbols on their clothing.
Punk fashion soon rose to mainstream status with the help of designers, such as Vivienne Westwood. Her clothing was famously worn by some of the members of The Sex Pistols, who are credited as one of the bands that brought punk music to light for many people. Over the years punk music has changed and developed sub-genres; and so has the fashion. But there is nothing like the classic punk rocker look to me, it just screams individuality and confidence.
Some staples in punk clothing are studded belts, anarchy symbols, Mohawks and even tattoos. I am sure these will always be fashionable in the punk scene, so there is no question that the future of punk will love the same styles as people in the past have.
So, everyone says that the children are the future of the world, right? That means the children are the future of Punk! I honestly can’t wait to have kids (well I can wait, and probably will wait for a few years) that I can dress in alternative and punk clothing. Seriously, I think its so flipping adorable when I see babies with Mohawks and little studded belts. I admire the parents for loving their style so much that they pass it onto their children; my parents would have never dressed me up in whatever style they liked the time, and honestly I am glad they didn’t. I don’t know how well I would I would have looked dressed up like I was going to a hair metal concert, punk fashion would have looked great on me though. I was even born with a Mohawk and everything!
If you want to pass on the style of Punk Fashion to your little ones I have a few tips:
One thing you need to remember is that it is extremely important for your baby to be comfortable. Try buying 100% cotton one pieces and then add on accessories to complete the look. There are places online that sell awesome looking punk clothing for babies, but they are made out of cheap material that itches and discomforts the baby.
My Baby Rocks is not one of those places, our clothing is 100% cotton, comfortable, and durable (some items are even 100% certified organic cotton.) This site is a great option for anyone who has passed along punk blood to their little ones. I recommend browsing through the one pieces, and thinking about mixing and matching different colors and accessories together. You are bound to find that perfect punk rock outfit.
